The first thing that catches the eye is its front windshield. Its outer frame adopts a high-strength square tube design instead of the traditional bent part structure. The advantage is that it is more sturdy and durable, improving the vehicle's safety against cargo impact and the overall aesthetic appeal. The only slight deficiency is that the weight has increased by about 0.5KG. The frame adopts a double-layer structure of upper and lower layers. The upper layer is reinforced with five vertical weighing pieces of bending parts, and the lower layer is a vertical weighing structure of 1+4 piles integrated. Considering that the flatbed trailer needs to have a certain degree of flexibility when transporting goods, the front end adopts a detachable design. Only four piles and eight 8.8 grade high-strength bolts are needed to complete the disassembly and assembly. Double-layer steel plate reinforcing ribs were made around the storage area.
The front windshield corner wrap adopts a structure formed by flat bending in one piece. At the corner where it is prone to tearing, an additional crescent-shaped reinforcing plate is added, making the overall reinforcement safer.
From front to back, the first thing that catches the eye is the bottom plate of the trailer. Without the protection of the side and rear box plates, the bottom plate itself needs to have a certain anti-slip property. Therefore, we chose two thick patterned bottom plates. While increasing resistance, they are combined with the tensioning force of the large rope tensioner, making the goods more firmly fixed and the transportation safer.
From top to bottom is the most crucial structure of the trailer - the frame. It is the backbone of the trailer and the foundation of its existence. It connects all the joints of the vehicle body from front to back and is of vital importance. It is also the part that truck drivers care about the most. Therefore, we carefully chose Baosteel material to make the frame, with a thickness of 7mm for the upper wing plate, 9mm for the lower wing plate, and 5mm for the vertical plate, forming an I-shaped structure. It is formed as a whole without splicing. The automatic welding is more solid. Under the premise of ensuring strength, it also takes into account lightweight. At the same time, it adopts a prestressed design, that is, an arc-shaped structure similar to the body of the Zhaozhou Bridge. It will not collapse or deform under heavy load and can automatically rebound after unloading.
The main beam is guaranteed for life. If it breaks, the upper structure will be replaced free of charge.
The goods transported by flatbed trailers are highly variable and need to handle different loads. If the main beam is the backbone, the other beam is like the shoulders. Therefore, for a good trailer, choosing the right pair of side beams is also very important. Thus, our side beams are 13-meter one-piece formed G-shaped and 14-centimeter high high-strength bent parts, rather than the traditional C-shaped steel. After adding two more bending processes, the load-bearing capacity and elasticity of the side beam can be greatly enhanced. Combined with a large amount of prestressed design, it also forms an arc-shaped structure similar to the body of the Zhaozhou Bridge.
The suspension of a trailer is a crucial part that connects the traveling mechanism. Some truck drivers commonly call it "horse leg". Here, we have chosen high-strength materials to make it. The support shaft is a special steel shaft with a larger diameter of 60#, which is hard, lightweight, has good wear resistance and is easy to maintain.
As a component of the trailer's traveling mechanism, the axle's significance is self-evident.
